  What a great way to begin the turn from winter to spring… We have partnered with Okanagan Experiential Tourism to host an event paying tribute to the outstanding wines of Fairview Cellars. Our limited seating of 20 guests will include Bill Eggert, the craftsman behind the wines of Fairview, as well as music by Singer/ Songwriter Lucy Blu. The 4 course menu will be developed with our cache of last years harvest on the farm in addition to produce and ingredients from our dedicated farming partners and producers. We are looking for a quality minded and detail oriented applicant, interested in helping us continue to exceed guest expectations. We provided tailored private chef services, winery events and special occasion catering, as well as culinary demonstrations and workshops at Backyard Farm Chef’s Table. Inspired by the food and wine bounty in our region, we are looking for a like-minded applicant with great communication skills, professionalism, work ethic and an interest in food and wine culture. Restaurant management and hospitality industry experience is an important attribute. Hourly wage is based on experience, and plus gratuities. All necessary training and development provided for the right fit. This position is full time during peak season, and part time during the shoulder season, based upon business volumes. As we are into the 3rd season of development, the opportunity for continued business growth is only limited to the involvement of our entire team. This very integral role will also work closely with myself regarding event planning and management.   Administration responsibilities include direct communication with potential and existing clients, providing quotes, pricing and menus as well as invoicing. Future possibilities of marketing, social media and promotion involvement to continue the evolution of the products and services offered through Artisan Culinary Concepts and Backyard Farm.
